Senior Data Engineer

CloudSmiths is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our cloud-driven ecosystem.
This role is integral to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable data solutions
You will lead technical teams and implement data-driven projects within an Agile environment, ensuring high-performance deliverables for our clients.

The Tech Stack: We don’t settle for legacy. We leverage modern, industry-leading tooling to stay ahead of the curve:  

• Deep mastery of Azure, Databricks, and PySpark.


• Apache Airflow for orchestration.  


• Architecting Data Lakehouses and warehouses using Delta, Parquet, and Avro.  


• Advanced Python and SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server). 


• Seamless API/Microservices integration and Git-driven version control.  

Experience Required:

• We’re looking for proven impact: 5+ years of progressive data engineering and cloud computing experience. 


• A track record of leading technical teams and mentoring talent. 


• You already know the nuances of Kimball vs. Inmon and when to normalize or go NoSQL.  


• Experience managing multi-shore projects and navigating complex SaaS/PaaS ecosystems.
