Job Description - Senior E-commerce Consultant

Description

MSA Outsourcing Solutions - UK is seeking a Senior E-commerce Consultant to support one of our UK based clients and to take full end-to-end ownership of their online business and lead its next stage of scalable, profitable growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role suited to an experienced e-commerce operator who has already successfully built, scaled, or transformed digital-first or omnichannel brands. You will be responsible not only for driving day-to-day performance across digital channels, but for shaping the overall commercial and technical direction of the e-commerce business.



Requirements
  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end e-commerce growth strategy, driving revenue, profitability, and long-term business scalability.
  • Lead all digital acquisition and retention channels, ensuring integrated performance across paid media, SEO, email marketing, and organic growth.
  • Design and execute a data-led growth roadmap aligned to commercial objectives, customer behaviour insights, and seasonal trading patterns.
  • Own the full customer lifecycle strategy, increasing acquisition, conversion rates, repeat purchases, and customer lifetime value.
  • Oversee and optimise the e-commerce website experience, ensuring high-performing UX, conversion optimisation, and seamless customer journeys.
  • Partner with technical teams to manage and evolve the e-commerce platform architecture, integrations, and system performance.
  • Lead performance marketing strategy across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other paid channels, ensuring profitable scale and efficient ROAS.
  • Own email marketing and CRM strategy (Klaviyo), including segmentation, automation flows, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Drive SEO strategy across technical, on-page, and content pillars to increase high-intent organic traffic and conversions.
  • Develop and oversee high-quality, conversion-focused content including ad copy, landing pages, blogs, buying guides, and campaign messaging.
  • Analyse performance using GA4, CRM, and e-commerce analytics tools to inform strategy, reporting, and optimisation decisions.
  • Manage promotional strategy, pricing inputs, and trading calendar alignment to maximise commercial performance across seasons and campaigns.
  • Continuously identify growth opportunities across product, channel, and customer segments to scale the business.
  • Ensure all digital initiatives are commercially driven, measurable, and aligned with overall business objectives.
