About the Role:

As a Private Equity Fund Data Analyst at Allocator, you are in charge of managing Allocator's data across global markets. The data team is the backbone of our business and collaborates with all other teams to ensure that we deliver the best quality data to our customers. As a Private Equity Fund Data Analyst in the Data Division, you will need to work closely with the customer success, product, and technology teams, taking responsibility for data coverage, quality, and timeliness to ensure our data is delivered to our clients at the highest standards. As a Senior Analyst you will play a crucial role in the final data sign-off stage and you will mentor and train other analysts, working your path towards becoming Team Leader.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Determine, monitor, and report the quality of client data


• Ensure data is in a consistent format and in line with onboarding arrangements


• Coordinate with the Customer Success Team to focus on joint issues arising between Client success and Data


• Liaise with the internal data, product, and technology teams to ensure client deadlines and needs are met


• Support the data team on other functions as needed (e.g. update of funds, mappings, client reports, etc.)


• Help Fund managers to navigate and utilise the Allocator platform


• Opportunities to work on other initiatives across the company


• Work closely with an international team building out the next generation of data technology systems for private markets investors

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills


• A strong understanding of the alternatives investment management industry


• 3 to 5 years of experience dealing with private markets data, is a must


• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, with proficiency in Excel


• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment but the candidate should also be able to work well independently


• Structured, organised, and meticulous with the ability to work under pressure


• Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit


• Undergraduate degree (Bcomm) specialising in Investment Management, Accounting, Business Management, or Finance
