Senior Professional - Cost Control Services

The Senior Professional for Cost Control Services is responsible for leading cost management activities across complex projects, ensuring financial control, forecasting accuracy, and compliance with budgetary requirements. This senior role works closely with project managers, planners, and finance teams to provide expert cost analysis, reporting, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cost control systems, procedures, and tools for projects.
• Establish project budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure alignment with approved cost baselines.
• Track and report on cost performance, variances, and forecasts, providing actionable insights to project leadership.
• Lead the preparation of cost reports, cash flow projections, and financial dashboards for internal and client use.
• Evaluate and process change orders, budget adjustments, and cost impact assessments.
• Support contract administration by validating cost-related deliverables and ensuring consistency with contractual terms.
• Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to ensure integration of cost and time data.
• Conduct cost risk assessments and participate in audits, reviews, and financial performance evaluations.
• Mentor junior cost control staff and contribute to the development of best practices and cost control standards.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, financial regulations, and client-specific requirements.
