To provide operational leadership and act as senior subject matter expert on AML technology enablement, remediation and optimisation across SBG. Ensure seamless delivery, maintenance and future proofing the entire technology stack across its lifecycle to support regulatory compliance. Partner with BU & Country delivery teams accountable for AML integration and management. Lead AML embedment for sustained service stability, service remediation, service improvement across all AML jurisdictions

A solid IT background and consistently keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field. Exposure to delivery in the African continent. Proven track record to a broad spectrum of stakeholders including senior executives. Knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks, methods and practices and experience in being a catalyst for organisational change. Experience working with cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and teamwork.



5-7 years

The role requires a leader seasoned and expert in Compliance with profound knowledge of the full dimensions of the field, but deep expertise in the relevant area of specialisation. Regulatory environment savvy, a proven track record in influencing seasoned leaders and employees across multiple countries and business areas to effectively implement compliance frameworks.



8-10 years

Exposure to broad business and financial management type experience, specifically within the banking sector. Good understanding of the Standard Bank IT environment. Full lifecycle design and development covering solution design, application design, development, testing and maintenance, network software, operating systems, multi-tier environments, desktop and workgroup software, middleware, server technology, fault tolerant environments, development tools.



More than 10 years

Exposure to broad business and financial management type experience, specifically within the banking sector. Good understanding of the Standard Bank IT environment. Full lifecycle design and development covering solution design, application design, development, testing and maintenance, network software, operating systems, multi-tier environments, desktop and workgroup software, middleware, server technology, fault tolerant environments, development tools.
