Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician with a strong background in commercial or industrial refrigeration. The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of relevant experience, be qualified in Freon Refrigeration, and hold an Ammonia Refrigeration qualification (CAT B). This role requires the ability to manage staff, handle quoted work, and ensure the highest standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Supervise and train junior technicians and staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
• Prepare and execute quoted work, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Approximately 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration.
• Qualified in Freon Refrigeration.
• Ammonia Refrigeration qualification (CAT B) is essential.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Strong technical skills in refrigeration system maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage quoted work, including providing accurate estimates and ensuring project completion within budget and on time.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
