Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and passionate Senior Trails Guides for a luxury safari lodge situated in the Welgevonden area.

This is an exceptional opportunity for qualified guiding professionals who are passionate about wildlife, conservation and delivering world-class safari experiences. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading exceptional game drives and walking safaris while ensuring the highest standards of guest safety, interpretation and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional and engaging game drives
  


• Lead guided walking safaris in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards
  


• Deliver informative wildlife, environmental and conservation interpretation
  


• Ensure exceptional guest experiences at all times
  


• Maintain guiding equipment and vehicles to a high standard
  


• Monitor wildlife activity and contribute to conservation initiatives where required
  


• Ensure guest safety during all safari activities
  


• Assist with lodge operations and guest hosting when necessary
  


• Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence
  

Minimum Requirements

• Valid FGASA qualification
  


• Full Trails Guide qualification essential
  


• Candidates nearing completion of their Trails qualification may also be considered
  


• Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge environment
  


• Excellent knowledge of wildlife, ecology and conservation
  


• Strong communication and guest interaction skills
  


• Professional, mature and guest-focused approach
  


• Valid driver's licence and PDP
  


• First Aid certification
  


• Ability to work effectively in a remote bush environment
