Senior Vue.js Developer (Contractor) | Cape Town

We are looking for a highly skilled front-end developer with deep Vue.js experience to join our global digital marketing and engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring clean code practices, agile collaboration, and component-driven design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of Vue.js-based front-end applications and components

• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage application state via Vuex or Pinia

• Optimize code for performance and mobile responsiveness

• Write unit and integration tests for critical components

• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers across sprints

• 5–10+ years front-end development experience, including 3–5+ with Vue 2 & 3

• Strong command of HTML, CSS/SCSS, ES6+, and build tools like Vite/Webpack

• Experience with Nuxt.js, API integration, and state management libraries

• Familiarity with testing tools like Jest or Cypress

• Bonus: Experience with TypeScript and Storybook
