• Achieve warranty balanced score card targets and KPI’s

• Control cost effectively on all types of warranty claims

• Control suspense and debtors accounts effectively

• Approve and process warranty claims and payments

• Provide expert technical support for warranty resolution

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Grade 12

• Must be a Qualified Artisan, Mechanic in relevant trade e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic or relevant mechanical engineering qualification

• 3-year post apprentice/learnership experience

• Machine general technical knowledge and applied skills, Applicable product knowledge

• Basic financial acumen, influencing and negotiating

• Technical report writing skill, Customer responsiveness

• Organisational awareness, Attention to detail

• computer literate (MS Office, SIS ET and SAP/CRM – warranty role

• Problem solving and failure analysis skill

• Sound understanding of Warranty policies & procedures and communication skills

• Willing to work overtime
