WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Safety Health Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Officer to join our team in Tanzania. Reporting to the country general manager, you will coordinate, support and advise the company on all aspects concerning Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. Another key responsibility of this role is establishing, managing and monitoring processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality within the company are adhered to .

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

Required Competencies

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. 


• Ability to meet deadlines and management expectations, in terms of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Quality, Health and Safety focused and detail oriented individual.


• Good attention to detail. 


• Ability to work with minimum supervision.


• Computer literate. 
  

Required Work Experience

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience and maximum of 5 years’ experience in a related role. 


• A minimum of 2 years experience maintaining QMS in relation to ISO 17020:2012 and/or 17025:2017 accreditation. 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Certificate in SHE related field e.g. Nebosh.
