Job Description - Shift Checker Operator - Epping, Cape Town

Overall Responsibility:
Execution of daily tasks and activities to achieve departmental targets

Focus Area 1
Check-light Operator

Perform Packaging Checks at identified Check Stations

Execution of daily tasks and activities to achieve departmental targets

Ensure daily tasks are done to correct company procedures and work instructions

Maintain packaging hygiene standards

Apply strict and accurate loss control

Participate in effective problem solving

Focus Area 2
Health and Safety

Perform Food Safety and Quality related activities as part of the FSMS and QC functions

Complying with OSHA and other safety regulations

Requirements of the Role

Matric

Minimum of 1 years experience in an FMCG environment

Preferred Skills/Competencies

Willing and able to work extended hours (overtime) as and/or when required

Active participation in daily board room Briefings

Work in teams

Good Record Keeping
