Shift Clerk

Overall Responsibility: Responsible for the accurate capturing and receiving of production stock, empties, orders picked, and orders dispatched. All stock movements on the warehouse floor must be recorded accurately on the system.

Focus Area 1

Receiving of Full product and Empties

• Ensuring that no stock arrives on site and gets offloaded without the necessary paperwork


• Ensuring that physical stock received vs delivery note matches and handling all paperwork


• Capturing of stock received in Syspro


• Ensuring that returns from trade gets captured in Syspro to ensure stock accuracy


• Ensure all moves of stock on shopfloor is captured accordingly in Syspro


• Ensure that stock received from the packaging lines is accurately reconciled and that the interface between Packaging and Warehouse is well managed


• Ensure that all empties’ issues to the Packaging lines are on time and reconciled accurately

Focus Area 2 

Dispatch

• Ensuring that there are no stock discrepancies when loaded a truck vs picking lists


• Ensure that trucks are loaded on time and in full


• Ensure that no stock leaves plant without full and signed documentation


• Process fully all stocks issued in Syspro to ensure that stock movements are correctly and accurately reflecting in the system

Focus Area 3

Support Manufacturing excellence roll-out 

• Take part in problem solving when required as per Focused improvement pillar


• Engage with team meetings and visual management as per Teamwork & VM pillar


• Ensure 5S is rolled out


• Adhere to Safety, Health and environment standards and support SHE pillar roll out


• Support all ME pillar roll-out activities

Requirements of the Role

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)


• Experience in inventory management and stock control


• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Understanding of basic hygiene, adherence to PPE, housekeeping standards and sanitation practices


• Knowledge of food safety standards


• Familiarity with HACCP / ISO 22000 requirements


• Syspro proficiency advantageous


• Ability to manage and accurately control stock and inventory
