Shift Supervisor - Durban, Mobeni - Salary R25,000 to R30,000.00 (based on experience)

Working Hours: Shift work (06h00 - 18h00 / 18h00 - 06h00)
Type: Permanent Position

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team in Mobeni. This permanent role requires a person with experience in production or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee manufacturing and transfer processes in factory operations

• Ensure production efficiency and monitor each station for optimum performance

• Enforce safety policies and conduct employee training for productivity and safety

• Inspect product quality to ensure standards are met

• Maintain communication between management and staff

• Manage resource flow, ensuring timely delivery of materials

• Analyze staffing requirements and ensure production schedules are met

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Essential)

• Diploma/Degree in a related field (Desirable)

• 1-2 years of experience as a production supervisor or in a similar role

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and resolve challenges

• Understanding of safety regulations and adherence to them

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timely completion of production documentation

• Daily updates on production metrics

• Monitoring of raw material stock levels

• Compliance with health and safety protocols
