Shift Supervisor in Training (SSVT)

Are you ready to take the next step in your Starbucks journey? We are looking for dedicated and passionate Barista Trainers to join our team as Shift Supervisors in Training. This role is designed to help you develop your leadership skills and prepare you for a supervisory position within our stores. You'll have the opportunity to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup, and one neighbourhood at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient shift.


• Support Baristas and other team members by providing guidance and feedback.


• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.


• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain Starbucks' high standards of quality and cleanliness.


• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.


• Contribute to a positive team environment by recognising changes in team morale and performance.


• Participate in training and development programs to build leadership skills.


• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.


• Assist in opening and closing the store as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current Starbucks Barista Trainers with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.


• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Demonstrated ability to understand and follow the Starbucks Behaviour at Work, Playbooks and routines.


• Proven track record of high performance and a clean disciplinary record.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.


• High school diploma or equivalent.
