Shop Assistant

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

How You Will Make an Impact: Responsible for serving customers and processing sales transactions, as well as certain stock-related transactions.

 Key Responsibilities

 Counter Sales - Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

Warehouse – stock receiving – dispatching – picking off stock – stock takes.

Colour Matching

Maintaining outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards.

Health and Safety

Receiving, processing and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly.

Stock deliveries to customers.

What you bring

Minimum of Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Minimum of 2-3 years retail experience.

Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Product knowledge and Computer Literacy – Excel, Word and Outlook.
