Site manager - MidrandFull job descriptionResponsibilities:Project Planning and Execution: Develop engineering project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets. Oversee project execution to ensure each phase progresses as planned.Team Management: Lead engineering project teams, coordinate team members' work, and ensure tasks are completed on time.Communication and Reporting: Maintain effective communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, regularly reporting on project progress and key issues.Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, and develop contingency plans.Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.Contract Management: Participate in project bidding, contract negotiations, and management to ensure contract terms align with company interests.Cost Control: Monitor project costs to ensure completion within budget.Site Management: Supervise construction sites, ensuring construction progress, safety, and quality meet requirements.Documentation Management: Maintain engineering project documentation, ensuring all project materials are updated and filed promptly.Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with South African laws and regulations, handling legal and regulatory matters as required.Process Management: Be highly familiar with engineering process standards, ensuring construction processes adhere strictly to these standards.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing large, residential projects.Professional Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6), PMP or other project management certifications preferred.Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction codes, engineering processes, and management procedures, with a strong knowledge of South African laws and regulations.Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities, with strong problem-solving and stress management skills.*Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: R25 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month
