Job Description: We are currently seeking skilled and semiskilled Boilermakers to join our team at Msuez Uk. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal structures and equipment, such as boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the required materials and methods for fabrication - Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, templates, and measuring devices - Use hand and power tools, such as plasma cutters, grinders, and welding equipment, to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces - Assemble and fit metal components together to create structures and equipment - Inspect and test completed structures and equipment for quality and accuracy - Repair and maintain existing structures and equipment as needed - Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times - Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project deadlines are met - Continuously develop and improve skills through training and on-the-job learning opportunities Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Boilermaker in a similar role - Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints - Knowledge of various welding techniques and experience with welding equipment - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various positions - Good communication and teamwork skills - Safety-conscious and able to follow safety procedures and guidelines - Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Compensation will be based on experience and skills.
