Job Description - Social Media Manager

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to own and execute our social presence across all major platforms. This role is responsible for content publishing, community management, influencer outreach, and performance optimisation, with a strong focus on platform algorithms, growth strategy, and brand consistency.


This is a hands -on role suited to someone who understands how social platforms actually work — not just posting, but driving reach, engagement, and conversion.


Key Responsibilities


Content & Platform Management


Manage and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn (where relevant).

Optimise posting schedules, formats, captions, and hashtags based on platform -specific algorithms.

Ensure all content aligns with our brands tone, visual identity, and commercial objectives.

Adapt content for each platform rather than reposting generic assets.


Community Management


Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and mentions across all platforms in a timely, professional manner.

Manage customer queries, brand feedback, and engagement while escalating issues where appropriate.

Actively engage with relevant accounts, communities, and conversations to increase visibility.


Influencer & Creator Outreach


Identify, research, and outreach to influencers, creators, and brand partners aligned with our aesthetic and audience.

Manage gifting, collaborations, content approvals, and posting schedules.

Track influencer performance and ROI.


Growth & Performance


Use analytics tools to track reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions.

Continuously test and refine content strategies based on performance data.

Stay up to date with algorithm changes, new features, and platform trends.

Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights.


Requirements


Essential


Proven experience managing social media for a fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand.

Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and X algorithms (reach, discovery, engagement signals).

Demonstrable experience growing social accounts organically.

Experience handling high -volume DMs and community interaction.

Confident in influencer outreach and relationship management.

Ability to work independently and take full ownership of social channels.




Technical & Creative Skills


Excellent copywriting skills for short -form social content.

Strong eye for visual storytelling and trends.

Familiar with analytics tools (e.g. Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, third -party tools).

Understanding of content formats: Reels, Stories, TikTok trends, carousels, short -form video.




Desirable (Nice to Have)


Experience working with premium or luxury brands.

Paid social knowledge (boosting, ads collaboration).

Basic video editing or content creation skills.

Experience working with e -commerce brands.
