Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging and/or maintenance of software systems. Works on specific modules, applications or technologies, and deals with sophisticated assignments during the software development process.

What will your job look like?

•   As an SRE, with help of your Engineering mindset, identify/prioritize production issues and develop the solution to resolve them with end to end operability.

•   Triage and troubleshoot service impacting events (like batch job failures, production fallouts, health check of application servers, customer reported anomalies) for an end to end resolution, with zero or right touch solutions.

•   Tackle complex development, automation and business process problems with regular update to stake holders.

•   Work with several applications teams and their interfaces to establish the right monitoring, alerting strategy accompanied with selfheal/auto heal.

•   Identify and Automate the toils (repeatable manual tasks) in operations and provide software solutions for same.

•   Identify and Fix the root cause for the production issues.

•   Work with product teams to define application hardening and define opportunities for making product resilient in upcoming versions.

•   Participate and contribute in the application knowledge buildup programs for the unit and be an active contributor to create operational and internal tools.

All you need is...

•   6+ years of working knowledge on C/C++, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Cloud, Shell scripting, CORBA framework

•   Working knowledge of integrated applications with client server framework

•   Experience of implementing automation/eliminating manual tasks for continuous improvement

•   Experience with development, defect fixing, categorization, quick resolution for incidents, running incident post-mortems.

•   Solid understanding of deployment processes

•   Good Understanding of Dev Ops and Agile processes

•   Knowledge/Experience of Amdocs applications is a plus
