Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor a software engineering team, supporting individual growth, technical development, and career progression.
- Drive the delivery of high-quality products and features by collaborating with Product Owners, Analysts, QA specialists, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Promote engineering excellence through modern development practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and strong software delivery standards.
- Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions that support scalable, reliable, and maintainable platforms.
- Create an environment built on collaboration, innovation, accountability, and team ownership.
- Encourage the adoption of effective engineering tools and practices, including AI-powered development solutions that improve productivity.
- Support agile delivery processes while ensuring teams remain aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams and successfully mentoring developers.
- Strong PHP development expertise with experience using Symfony or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, scalable software solutions, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience applying Domain-Driven Design principles in software development environments.
- Previous experience working within Agile, cross-functional teams and managing software delivery processes.
- Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire, coach, and empower engineers while creating a positive and collaborative team culture.
