Sound Technician

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate sound equipment for all onboard a cruise ship entertainment and events

- Conduct sound checks and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal sound quality

- Monitor sound levels during performances and adjust as needed

- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise with sound equipment

- Maintain and organize sound equipment inventory

- Collaborate with other crew members and performers to ensure smooth and successful events

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling sound equipment

- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in sound technology

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sound Technician in a live entertainment setting

- Proficient in operating sound equipment such as mixers, amplifiers, and microphones

- Strong understanding of sound principles and systems

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Valid passport and ability to travel for extended periods of time
