SPF Application Engineer

They are looking for a SPF Application Engineer with an engineering background and strong IT capability to join their team in delivering integrated digital solutions to high-profile industrial clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• OR minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering information management

Key Experience and Skills:

• Background in process or power industry engineering
• Strong understanding of Information Management in large, complex engineering projects

Subject Matter Expertise in:

• Document Management Systems
• Data integrations & migrations
• Asset Information Management
• Practical experience with ERP / engineering platforms (e.g., Hexagon SmartPlant Foundation a strong plus)
• Solid database knowledge: Oracle and SQL
• Experience in software project environments and cross-functional teams
• Proven analytical skills:
• Interpreting user requirements
• Mapping requirements to product capabilities
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical/software issues
• Configuration & Specification Skills:
• Ability to configure standard products to meet client-specific workflows
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Able to define and document specifications for:
• System integrations
• Custom functionality enhancements

Additional Advantageous Skills:

• Exposure to UML Modelling
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server
• Experience working with Hexagon platforms (SmartPlant tools)
