Job Description - Stock Controller & Front Office Assistant

Stock Controller Skills:
• Placing orders for F&B department
• Completing required paperwork with orders
• Updating stock on the computer system
• Comparing items received against items ordered
• Implementing or improving processes and procedures
• Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
• Maintain records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information
• Performing random checks and audits
• Liaising with suppliers
• Obtain comparative pricing from suppliers
• Stock Takes
• Checking stock levels regularly

Requirements

Tertiary & Experience:
• National Senior Certificate
• At least 3 year working experience in similar position
• Good computer and software skills

Personal:
• Fully bilingual
• Strong operational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Focussed, creative and passionate about the hospitality industry
• An excellent track record with contactable references
• No bad habits e.g. smoking or drinking
• Valid driver’s license
• Own transport preferred

General Skills:
• Strong problem -solving abilities
• Strong with figures and spreadsheets
• Lead by example
• Team player
• Must be conscientious
• Extremely neat, tidy and organized
• Maintain a professional approach
• Attention to detail
• Must be comfortable with following instructions
