Job Description - Store/Warehouse Incharge

Key Responsibilities

Any Grad, Prior experience in Store/Warehouse Incharge, FMCG background prefered

1. Inventory & Stock Management

FIFO/FEFO Management: Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) in FMCG stock to minimize wastage and expiries.

Stock Audits: Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records (ERP/SAP).

Stock Accuracy: Maintain \(>99\%\) inventory accuracy and report discrepancies promptly.

Stock Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages

2. Warehouse Operations

Inwarding & Outwarding: Supervise the unloading, receiving, inspection, and recording of incoming goods.

Dispatch Management: Coordinate picking, packing, and timely dispatch of orders, ensuring accurate documentation (Invoices, E-Way Bills, Challans).

Space Optimization: Organize storage layout (5S) for efficient space utilization and fast movement.

Documentation: Maintain proper records of all store/warehouse activities. [1, 3, 4, 5]

3. Leadership & Safety

Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff (loaders, helpers) and oversee daily shifts.

Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, hygiene, and cleanliness (FIFO, temperature control for relevant goods).

Equipment Care: Ensure proper handling and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallets).

FMCG Knowledge: Understanding of FMCG operations (expiry management, high-volume turnover) is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Core Competencies: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team management skills.
