Strike and Riot Operator - Eastern Cape (Gqeberha and East London)

Job brief

TSU would like to recruit Freelance Riot and Crowd control officers. Riot officers are required to deploy to any site in various parts of the country as requested by our clients. Officers will respond and work away from home most of the time

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid driver's license (advantageous)

• Own Transport (advantageous)

• Grade 10 minimum or equivalent (NQF level).

• Current PSIRA registration (Minimum Grade C)

• Security training certification (Grades)

• Riot training certificate: Crowd control/crowd management/public order management, etc.

• SAPS firearm competency - Shotgun

• Firearm statement of Results, Use and handle – Shotgun Business Purposes

• Valid regulation 21 certificate (If available)

• Pass physically fitness test regularly

• 1 year strike and riot experience

Skills and Competencies:

• Articulate and able to communicate on all levels - face to face, telephonically and WhatsApp

• Must be fluent in English

• Be able to handle pressure and stay cool, calm and collective under stressful situations

General:

• RSA citizen

• Clear criminal record

• Good contactable references

• Flexible working hours - work shifts and extended working hours, etc.

• Hardworking, dedicated, honest, Sober Habits

Remuneration will be per day (12-hour shift) depending on the type of task at hand and determined by the clients need.
