Student Residence Manager

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the residence, home to 30 female students
  
• Ensure the residence remains clean, secure, and well-maintained
  
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and community-focused atmosphere among students
  
• Supervise and support a team of 2 cleaning staff and 1 night guard
  
• Address student concerns related to safety, health, and housing
  
• Liaise with head office and external security teams to maintain a safe living environment
  
• Coordinate daily transport and manage the residence vehicle, including driving students to and from campus
  

Requirements

• Valid Code 8 driver's license
  
• Valid PDP license, or willingness to obtain one
  
• A mature, responsible individual with relevant experience in residence management, or a background in education, nursing, hospitality, or similar fields
  
• Fluent in English; Afrikaans is a bonus
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts calmly and fairly
  
• Sober habits and a high level of personal integrity

• The total cost to company is R26,000 per month, structured as follows: a base salary of R11,500, an additional R4,000 for bus driving responsibilities, and a R500 monthly allowance for cellphone data. Accommodation is provided to the value of R10,000 per month, which includes DStv, WiFi, water, and electricity.
