To support the company management in ensuring that the companys operating facilities and businesses are managed in a sustainable manner.
To develop and implement the companys environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities to bring added value.
To develop and manage the implementation of the companys Impact or Impact related plans. This would include the corporate social investment (CSI) initiatives.
MSc/BSc with relevant subject.
Working knowledge of IFC Performance Standards
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Good interpersonal skills.
Understanding of local E&S regulations and local social context
Specialized EHS certification from any authorized body will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of climate adaptation and mitigation, and regenerative agriculture, will be an advantage.
10 years experience in leading the E&S function in a primary agriculture/ processing context.
Experience in developing and implementation of ESMS and/or ISO certification.
Experience in managing complex projects.
Ability to collaborate and build consensus across departments and among stakeholders.
Relationship building and team development skills, effective at training and supporting individuals from different parts of the business.
Strong written and verbal communication ability.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and persuasion ability.
Comfortable managing and communicating with all levels of stakeholders internally and externally
