Job Description - Talent Acquisition Specialist

United Exports is looking for an In-House Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team and lead strategic hiring across our shared services and operational divisions. In this role, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders to shape recruitment strategies, champion the candidate experience, and ensure our talent aligns with our culture and long-term goals.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who is passionate about in-house recruitment, and who is excited to work at the heart of a fast-paced, globally integrated business.


Key Performance Outputs 
  • Act as a strategic recruitment partner to internal teams across HR, finance, operations, logistics, agronomy, and more.
  • Lead end-to-end hiring: defining role needs, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, offering insights and guidance on workforce planning and market availability.
  • Use sourcing tools, job boards, and LinkedIn to find and engage the right talent proactively.
  • Maintain and optimise internal talent pipelines for business-critical roles.
  • Champion an excellent candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
  • Track recruitment metrics and share insights that improve hiring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT and other internal teams to support onboarding, probation management, and offboarding.


Requirements

Education / Experience 
  • A relevant degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a corporate, in-house recruitment role — this is a non-negotiable requirement. 
  • Proven track record in hiring across a range of functions, particularly within shared services and operational environments.
  • Global recruitment experience is a key requirement.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic setting.

  • End-to-end recruitment & talent acquisition
  • Strategic sourcing & talent pipeline building
  • Interview coordination & stakeholder management
  • Offer negotiation & onboarding facilitation
  • Recruitment data analysis & reporting
  • Workforce planning & internal mobility
  • Understanding of employment legislation & compliance
  • ATS systems (e.g. Sage, BambooHR, Workday, JobAdder, etc.)
  • Recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate conversion rates)
