Tax Compliance Consultant

As a vital part of our TAX Compliance Department, you'll ensure accurate Tax, VAT, and other SARS-related processing for our diverse clientele. Your role includes advising internal teams and consulting clients on tax matters.Requirements: Registered tax practitioner with a finance or taxation degree/diploma. 2-3 years of tax compliance experience, e-filing proficiency, and computer literacy are essential. SAIPA articles advantageous.Responsibilities involve completing tax returns, addressing SARS queries, and ensuring timely submissions. This includes drafting responses and handling other SARS-related tasks for tax compliance. Upholding accuracy, applying theoretical knowledge, meeting deadlines are crucial. You'll compile SARS returns, reconcile assessments, and address queries, ensuring quality control before submission.Required skills include good knowledge of income tax compliance regulations, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, effective communication at all levels, strong time management abilities and willingness to work under tight deadlines during tax season.Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.
