Tax Consultant

• The Tax Consultant will manage and submit tax returns across all major tax types, including Income Tax, Provisional Tax, VAT, and PAYE
  
• The role involves handling SARS eFiling submissions, reconciliations, and follow -ups
  
• The consultant will liaise directly with SARS regarding audits, queries, objections, and disputes
  
• Preparation and review of tax calculations, assessments, and supporting documentation will form a core part of the role
  
• The consultant will ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines and legislative requirements
  
• The role includes advising clients on tax -related matters and providing practical, compliant solutions
  
• Accurate record -keeping and maintenance of tax files in accordance with firm standards is required
  
• Collaboration with internal teams to support broader advisory and compliance services is expected
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Tax Consultant or similar tax -focused role
  
• Extensive hands -on experience dealing with SARS and SARS eFiling
  
• Exposure to and working knowledge of all major tax types
  
• Strong understanding of South African tax legislation and compliance processes
  
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
