Your Role

 


In this rewarding Team Leader Role, you will lead a team of Specialist Homelessness Services Case Workers and Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred and trauma-informed support. Working within a Housing First framework, you will drive positive client outcomes through effective case management oversight, staff supervision, service coordination and strong partnerships across the community sector. 

Your Responsibility

 



  • Leading, mentoring and supervising a team of Case Workers and Support Workers

  • Supporting the delivery of person-centred, trauma-informed and Housing First practices

  • Overseeing case plans, case notes and service quality to ensure best practice and compliance standards are met

  • Monitoring team performance, caseloads and funded KPIs

  • Building collaborative relationships with Homes NSW, community housing providers and local service partners

  • Managing program reporting, data collection, brokerage expenditure and continuous quality improvement activities

  • Providing leadership in crisis response, risk management and complex case coordination

You Will Need

 



  • Qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Community Welfare or significant equivalent experience within the homelessness sector

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within Specialist Homelessness Services or a related community services setting

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, case management principles and Housing First approaches

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills

  • Sound knowledge of child protection, WHS requirements and relevant sector legislation

  • Strong administrative, reporting and financial management capabilities

  • Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel across the service area
