Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in an Agricultural field
2-4 years of sales or practical experience in the macadamia industry will be required
Must have knowledge of agricultural practices and products
Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
Strong analytical and data analysis skills will be required for this role
Proficiency in Microsoft tools is important
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required (including overnight travel)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the agricultural sector.
Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers.
Promoting and selling the companys product portfolio.
Conducting market research and staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
Collaborating with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.
Providing exceptional customer service and support.
Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of company products and services.
