Technical Service Technician Medical Equipment

The role involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of medical equipment, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering professional technical support to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and configure medical equipment at customer sites.
  
• Perform preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and safety inspections.
  
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software -related faults.
  
• Conduct testing and calibration to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
  
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and job cards.
  
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
  
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
  
• Assist with internal audits and quality assurance processes.
  
• Manage and track spare parts, tools, and service equipment.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and operations.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical service, maintenance, or repair (medical equipment preferred).
  
• Experience within hospitals or healthcare environments is advantageous.
  
• Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  
• Computer literate (MS Office and service management systems).
  
• Strong problem -solving and analytical ability.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Good time management and organizational skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  
• Customer -focused with strong attention to details.
