Technical Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain inventory of technical supplies and equipment On Board Cruise Ship.

- Place orders for necessary supplies and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner.

- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments to ensure they meet quality standards and match the order specifications.

- Properly store all materials and equipment in designated areas for easy identification and retrieval.

- Issue supplies and equipment to crew members as needed, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future supply needs, making recommendations for restocking as necessary.

- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.

- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of technical supplies and equipment.

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations when handling and storing technical materials and equipment.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry.

- Strong knowledge of technical supplies and equipment, including their storage and handling requirements.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to handling technical materials and equipment.
