Overview
A technology services provider is looking for a Telecoms Technical Support Engineer to deliver remote installations and ongoing technical support for SME customers. This role is customer -facing and suited to someone confident with telecoms, networking, and remote troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Remotely install and configure telephony, connectivity, and related systems
Deliver live training sessions to customers following installation
Provide ongoing remote technical support and fault resolution
Diagnose and resolve telephony, broadband, router, and network issues
Maintain accurate records of installations and support activity
Work closely with internal teams to improve customer experience
Ensure service level agreements and customer expectations are met
Configure routers and network equipment for upgrades and new services
Skills & Experience
Experience with telephony systems and VoIP platforms
Strong understanding of networking, routers, and broadband services
Confident troubleshooting technical issues remotely
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Self -motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
