The Role: Telesales Executive
As a Telesales Executive, your mission is to generate qualified sales opportunities for a specialized drone solutions provider serving the UKs Building & Civils sector. Youll build a high-quality UK pipeline through outbound calling, strategic appointment setting, and hands-on sales support. This is a high-performance, target-driven role with clear pathways to leadership as the Cape Town team scales.
Key Responsibilities
Minimum 3 years of telesales experience required (construction, industrial, or tech sectors preferred)
Make 150 outbound calls daily to UK-based construction and building maintenance leads
Qualify leads using defined criteria and convert cold contacts into warm sales opportunities
Book 5+ meetings per week with decision-makers on large-scale infrastructure projects
Collaborate with UK sales team to align lead generation with market priorities
Manage quoting and scheduling processes using DroneDesk and Simpro
Support proposals, follow-ups, and sales cycle documentation
Maintain accurate CRM records of all calls, appointments, and pipeline activities
Track and report on key performance indicators including call volume and meeting conversions
About You
3+ years of proven telesales experience, ideally in construction or industrial sectors
Strong cold calling and consultative sales skills (150 calls/day required)
Clear ambition to grow into a leadership role as the Cape Town team expands
Confident communicator with a professional, well-put-together demeanor
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
Highly organized, resilient, and target-focused
Comfortable working UK hours (Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm UK time)
Mature-minded, level-headed, self-motivated, and hardworking
Familiar with the demands and resilience required in a sales environment
