Test Analyst (Intermediate)

• Contribute practical knowledge to Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) and Sprint Planning.
  
• Design and create robust test plans, test cases, and regression scripts.
  
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to prepare and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) handovers to business teams.
  
• Conduct and engage in walkthrough sessions to ensure shared understanding and alignment on requirements.
  
• Actively collaborate and communicate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
  
• Work closely with Development and Business QA to facilitate efficient development, testing, and smooth deployment cycles, including critical updates like patches and hotfixes.
  
• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, Product Backlog Refinement, Sprints, etc.)
  

• A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.
  
• 3-5 years of software testing experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on specific technologies.
  
• A solid understanding of the Life Insurance sector.
  
• Capable of performing performance and security testing, with proficiency in tools such as Postman (including authentication), Pilotfish, and Hyphen.
  
• Proficient in Postman for API testing and JIRA for comprehensive bug and project tracking.
  
• Proficient in performing regression testing, and familiar with Scribe for documentation/test management and Gherkin for behavior-driven development (BDD) test specification.
  
• Experience with test management tools, proficiency in SQL queries, and an understanding of code-based testing. A proactive approach to learning and adopting the latest testing tools is essential.
