Tour Guide Expert

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced German Speaking Land Experience Expert to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and coordinating exceptional land experiences for our guests, ensuring their time on land is just as memorable as their time at sea.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with local tour operators and suppliers to create unique and authentic land experiences for our guests

- Plan and coordinate shore excursions and activities that align with the cruise itinerary and cater to the interests of our guests

- Communicate with guests to understand their preferences and needs, and provide personalized recommendations for land experiences

- Manage the logistics of land experiences, including transportation, reservations, and any necessary permits or documentation

- Collaborate with onboard staff to ensure a seamless transition between sea and land experiences for guests

- Monitor and evaluate guest feedback to continuously improve the quality and variety of land experiences offered

- Keep up to date with local events, attractions, and cultural activities to enhance the guest experience

- Assist with any guest inquiries or issues related to land experiences

Qualifications:

- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

- Previous experience in the travel industry, preferably in a cruise or tour operator setting

- Strong knowledge and understanding of different destinations and cultures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with reservation systems is an asset

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate guest needs
