Trails Guide

• Guided Safaris: Conduct twice -daily game drives and guided bush walks in the "Big 5" Black Rhino concession and greater Pilanesberg area.
  
• Guest Hosting: Provide expert interpretive knowledge of local fauna, flora, and ecosystems while maintaining a sophisticated luxury atmosphere.
  
• Safety & Ethics: Ensure the highest standards of guest safety, vehicle maintenance, and conservation ethics.
  
• Extra Duties: Assist with guest transfers, bush coffee/sundowners, and basic lodge maintenance as required. 
  
  

Requirements

• Certification: FGASA Level 1 or 2 (NQF2/NQF4) and valid DEAT/NDT registration.
  
• Trails Qualification: Full Lead Trails Guide or Close to lead Trails
  
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License with Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
  
• Skills: Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH), valid First Aid Level 1 or 2, and strong birding/tracking skills.
  
• Experience: 2–3 years of guiding experience in a Big 5 environment.
