Key Responsibilities: - Operate and drive company trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules - Load and unload cargo and ensure that all goods are secured properly - Follow traffic laws and regulations and maintain a clean driving record - Maintain communication with dispatch and report any incidents or delays - Complete daily logs and reports accurately - Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times - Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner to customers and other drivers Requirements: - Valid and clean driver's license (Code 10 or 14) - Proven work experience as a Truck Driver - Knowledge of South African roads and regulations - Ability to operate and maintain various truck types and sizes - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects - High school diploma or equivalent If you are a reliable and responsible Truck Driver with a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
