Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our company trucks, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate company trucks to transport goods to designated locations

- Load and unload goods from the truck in a safe and efficient manner

- Inspect trucks before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, distance, and fuel consumption

- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road

- Communicate with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules

- Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or delays to the appropriate personnel

- Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times

- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Clean driving record

- Knowledge of road safety regulations

- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of trucks

- Excellent time-management and organizational skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel long distances if necessary
