We are looking for a Vendor Sourcing Coordinator to support one of our US-based clients, in sourcing and managing construction trade vendors across multiple US markets.
This role focuses heavily on research, outbound calling, and vendor coordination. You will spend a large portion of your day engaging with vendors by phone, identifying suitable trade partners, and managing onboarding and compliance requirements once vendors are approved.
This position is best suited to someone who is resilient, comfortable with high-volume calling, and able to maintain a professional, confident phone presence throughout the day.
PLEASE NOTE
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5:30pm EST (this is currently 3:30pm – 00:30am SA Time, which is subject to change according to daylight savings in the United States)
Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
Work Environment:This is a fully remote working role.
Public Holidays: You will be required to work on all South African public holidays (compensated as per BCEA)
Key Responsibilities
Source and recruit construction trades and vendors across various US markets
Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups with potential vendors daily
Build and maintain a database of approved vendors
Coordinate vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance requirements
Maintain ongoing vendor relationships and perform periodic check-ins
Support operations with vendor availability, updates, and reporting
Research new markets, trades, and vendor opportunities as required
Clear, neutral English accent with strong verbal communication skills
Comfortable spending most of the day on outbound calls
Strong internet research and data capture skills
High levels of reliability, focus, and self-discipline
Ability to work US hours consistently
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in vendor coordination, recruitment, sourcing, or operations support
Previous exposure to construction, trades, or service-based industries is advantageous
Calm, confident, and professional on the phone
Able to handle repetitive tasks without fatigue or loss of quality
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
