Job Description - Warehouse Manager

Qualification

Requirements

Proven working experience as a Warehouse Manager to manage parts warehouse and tube manufacturing.
Experience managing productivity targets and ensuring that the warehouse is stocked and managed correctly.
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
Managing a team of approximately 15 people.

Duties

Strategically manage the warehouse according to company policies and procedures.
Oversee purchasing, receiving, warehousing, production (tube manufacturing section) and maintenance operations.
Manage warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization.
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
Liaise with workshops, sales team, suppliers and transport companies.
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems.
Plan work and assign tasks.
Motivate and mentor warehouse staff.
Monitor quality of products.
Drive improvements in efficiency and cost management.
