Job Description - Water Treatment Operator

Prepares, records, verifies and pays vendor invoices for goods and services on a timely basis and responds to vendor queries | Maintains, analyzes and reconciles accounts payable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports | Develops, directs, plans and evaluates accounts payable policies and procedures, and ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered to | May process employee expenses reimbursement requests for payment

Key Responsibilities at Solenis

  • System Monitoring & Testing: Collect and test water samples from boilers, cooling towers, pasteurizers, and chlorine dioxide systems.
  • Chemical Handling: Receive, offload, and transfer chemicals between bulk storage and day tanks, and check reagent and stock levels.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Check for equipment leaks, inspect pumps and tanks, maintain chemical stations, and monitor automated control devices like OnGuard™.
  • Reporting & Logging: Record daily usage, compile action logs, and submit service and pasteurizer reports to account manager
