Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting & Review:

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex construction and commercial contracts.

• Ensure all contracts are legally compliant, commercially sound, and aligned with client requirements.

• Interpret and advise on contractual obligations, terms, and potential risks.

Legal Advisory & Risk Management:

• Provide strategic legal counsel relating to contractual disputes and risk mitigation.

• Support clients with legal interpretations and dispute-related matters within the construction sector.

Project & Client Management:

• Manage legal matters and projects from inception to completion while ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.

• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients through effective communication and service delivery.

• Collaborate with partners and junior staff to ensure seamless client service and efficient matter management.

General:

• Work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

• Uphold the firm’s ethical standards and commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years post-admission / post-qualification experience (PQE) within a legal practice environment.

• Sound knowledge and practical experience in Contract Law is essential.

• Experience in Construction Law, including exposure to JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, and GCC contracts, will be

advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
