Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components according to project specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements - Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders - Perform welding tasks using various techniques, such as arc welding, gas welding, and brazing - Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs - Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment - Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed - Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards - Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints - Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good physical stamina and dexterity - Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work - Valid welding certification is a plus Working Conditions: The Welder will work primarily in a workshop or construction site setting. This may involve working in confined spaces or at heights, and may require the use of personal protective equipment. The role may also involve occasional travel to project sites.
