• Follow verbal or simple written work instructions
• Ensure proper understanding of the required actions
• Apply recognized work and safety standards 
• Operation of all farming equipment and machinery required for role
• Monitor that farming equipment is in good running order.
• Complete tasks specific to role to required standard
• Follow instructions from Farm Supervisor and report back when tasks are completed
• Report abnormal activities or problems to Farm Supervisor
• Assist during breakdowns or emergencies
• Support the Farm Supervisor in identifying material requirements
• Participate in required meetings
• Identify opportunities to improve the farming activities
• Support efforts to overcome operational problems
• Effective two way communications with team members
• Ensure that all required tools and material are available to complete tasks
• Maintenance of farm fences
• Maintenance of farm/lodge infrastructure, ie structures, buildings, dams and grounds
• Implementation of burning program
•  Implementation of fisheries management program
• Implementation of bush encroachment program

Qualifications: Grade 8

Experience: 6 Months

Knowledge and Skills:

• Semi-skilled for the working on a farm.
• Ability to communicate in organizations chosen language.
