Job Description - Wine Telesales Consultant

About the Role





At Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, we don’t just sell wine—we create experiences. We are looking for a highly organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Wine Telesales Consultant to take ownership of our customer database and drive its growth. If you bring a positive attitude, a passion for luxury hospitality, and a commitment to excellence, we want you on our team.



Key Responsibilities






  • Outbound Call Management: Proactively sell the Benguela Cove wine portfolio through cold calling and strategic outreach to existing databases.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate records, provide professional support across all communication channels, and identify key upsell opportunities.

  • Marketing & Communications Support: Assist with the execution of email campaigns and newsletters. Support the rollout of seasonal offers, new releases, and digital growth initiatives.

  • Performance Tracking: Consistently monitor sales performance and maintain high standards across all KPIs to ensure estate growth.



What We’re Looking For – Non-Negotiables






  • Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Direct-to-Customer (DTC) sales, call centers, or the customer service industry.

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience working with CRM systems (specifically VTiger) and managing complex customer databases.

  • Educational Foundation: Matric is required; a qualification in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, or a wine-related field will give you a significant advantage.

  • Reliability: You must have your own reliable transport.

  • Exceptional Attitude: A positive, enthusiastic approach with the ability to work independently and bring "energy and care" to every task.
