Offline Marketing Specialist - Cape TownFull job descriptionJob description:The Offline Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in driving foot traffic to our stores and enhancing the brand's offline presence. This role is responsible for designing and executing creative marketing strategies, including visual merchandising, in-store events, and other offline marketing initiatives to attract customers and promote brand awareness.Design and Visual Merchandising:Develop visually compelling displays and layouts for store windows, interior merchandising, and in-store promotional materials to showcase products and reinforce the brand's image.Collaborate with the Retail Sales Manager and Store Managers to ensure consistency in visual branding and messaging across all stores.In-Store Events and Promotions:Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store events, product launches, and promotional campaigns to engage customers and drive foot traffic to the stores.Work closely with store teams to implement event logistics, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring a seamless customer experience.Offline Marketing Campaigns:Develop and implement offline marketing campaigns and initiatives to reach target audiences through print media, direct mail, outdoor advertising, and other offline channels.Collaborate with the Marketing department to to plan marketing campaigns and events effectively and within budget.Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute marketing campaigns effectively and within budget.Community Engagement and Partnerships:Identify opportunities for community engagement and partnership collaborations to enhance brand visibility and foster positive relationships with local communities.Represent the brand at local events, sponsorships, and community initiatives to build brand loyalty and goodwill.Market Research and Analysis:Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities for offline marketing strategies.Analyze campaign performance metrics, customer feedback, and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of offline marketing initiatives and optimize future campaigns.Job Specification:Skills:Graphic design, visual merchandising, event planning, project management, creativity.Experience and Qualification:Proven experience in graphic design, visual merchandising, or event planning, preferably in a retail or marketing environment. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)Knowledge:Understanding of offline marketing channels, market research methodologies, and branding principles.Personal attributions:Attention to detail, creativity, adaptability, excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Other:Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events or store openings.
