We continue to look for ways to do more with less, promote the responsible management of ecosystems, develop and inspire our people, and enhance the value that our sustainable product solutions create.Profile Requirements: BSc/ BEng Chemical Engineering Degree B Tech Pulp & Paper would be advantageous ECSA registered Professional Engineer (PrEng) would be advantageous Experience: Minimum of 5 years' operational experience in a Chemical / Production / Process heavy industry Minimum of 3 years Line management / Supervisory experience Biomass/Coal fired Boilers, Turbines and Utilities operational experience will be advantageous Commissioning experience in Biomass Boilers will be advantageous Key Performance Areas: Ensure the compliance with all occupational health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Ensure the effective management of Risk, Safety and Quality through risk assessments, implementation and management of behavioural based safety, task analysis and quality management to ensure a zero tolerance for unsafe acts and acceptable levels of safety incidents. Ensure stable and maximum quality supply of Power and Utilities to the entire mill i.e. Power, steam, water, air. Provide production quality and production output specific support and advise Business Unit members building capacity and skills through coaching and mentoring. Manage the Power and Utilities area with emphasis on people, cost, plant efficiency and availability. Ensure effective financial management of the Business unit by financial control, financial compliance and risk management, to ensure quality outputs are delivered within budget. Ensure that solid internal and external customer/supplier relations are built, maintained, and managed to ensure timely delivery from supplier, and customer satisfaction. Develop, implement, and manage annual Power and Utilities production operational plans and project plans that are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. Develop, implement, and manage continuous improvement agenda. Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual Business Unit reporting which includes progress on stakeholder relations, business and strategic planning. Build and maintain a competent and motivated workforce by managing performance, conflict and development within the Business Unit. Develop Business solid manning plan, personnel development, and assessment. Accurate reporting
